My goal is to maintain the Siberian Husky breed standard while providing well adjusted, loving companions to forever homes. If you love huskies you are in the right place! I bought my first Siberian Husky, Shiva, 15 years ago and fell in love with the breed. Read about the standards I have set for my breeding program below.

Reminder

LIFETIME RETURN POLICY

  • At ANY point in the dog's life for ANY reason, you will return the dog to the breeder (Lana Leguía) if you can no longer care for the dog. No questions. No judgements. No fee. No refunds.

  • I do allow in person visits but for safety reasons I only do them upon request and if I feel comfortable. I do not do Puppy Paw-tys before 9 weeks for bio security reasons. This is done in my HOME. I post videos and pictures of the pack and parents, the nursery, and the litters. I am very transparent on how I whelp and raise the puppies. To pick out your puppy and ask any questions you have for me please schedule a zoom meeting or attend a Puppy Paw-ty when the litter is 10 weeks old.

  • Puppies sold as pet only. Breeding rights are given on a case by case basis. I am very particular about who I give breeding rights to.

    Boarding Services: $35 a night

My Home

  • The pack first and foremost are part of the family. They live with me in my home. You can find them running around the yard, creepily staring at anyone who comes to visit or passed out on one of the couches.

  • All of my dams and sires stay with with me for LIFE. Animals are too good for this world and should never be exploited, abused or passed around. Regardless of when or how often one of the pack members has bred, they stay with the pack and in their home until their last breathe.

  • Some of my pack members are not part of the breeding program and are rescues. Some are not even huskies.

  • Females consent to mating. There is never human intervention during the mating process. I firmly believe that if human intervention is needed, those animals should not be breeding. Methods such as dog breeding stands where the female is restrained are never used.

  • Females are bred on a strict schedules to ensure healing time. A female will never be bred if she is underweight, ill or emotionally struggling. Females will not be bred more than twice a year. They will be considered retired at 8 years old or if their last litter was a struggle in any way.

  • Dams take prenatal and postnatal vitamins and the whole pack eats raw. Though, there are a few who are picky eaters and they eat high quality kibble.

Puppies

  • All of the puppies are socialized using Messineo Lindquist's Puppy Culture Program. Learn about more about this HERE.

  • Puppies go to their new home at 10-12 weeks. Read about the reasoning for this.

  • Dam and puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6,  and 8 weeks.

  • Dam has the ability to come and go. Dams are never forced to stay in with older pups nor forced to stay away.  Pups nurse as long as mom allows. Puppy mush is given when natural weaning happens, usually between 3-5 weeks.

  • All puppies receive their first vaccination at 8 weeks. Read more about vaccinations HERE.

  • All puppies are microchipped at 8 weeks.

  • Puppies sleep with mom right in the living room! So starting at just a few days old your puppy is handled, loved and snuggled daily. Puppies undergo age appropriate socialization and enrichment activities. They will come in contact with all sights, sounds, and smells, of daily household living. At the appropriate age, puppies will interact with the other pack members learning how to play and feeling comfortable around older dogs.
